Buzzsaw ~127Kb & Dirms~81Kb

These are programs to defragment drives under Windows NT and Windows
2000Other programs, including the ever-popular Diskeeper, actually
leaves little gaps between files. These do not show up on thier
interactive displays, so you might not know you even have them! Though
you might wonder why a disk that's only 80% full has no visible free
areas. A dreded problem, we found, with disks that are 2/3 full or so is
these little gaps, or file interstices. They are between 1 and 15
clusters in size (always less than 16), and sit between most files. This
eats up a great deal of free space, and NTFS, in its infinite stupidity,
will start sticking files in there when a larger free space is
available, causing files with hundreds of fragments. Yet all other
defragmentors, including Diskeeper, make such interstices when
defragmenting!Knowing this, dirms will pack files tight with no gaps.
You can ask it to simply slide each file to the left as far as it can,
thus incrementally consolidating your free space. Or you can move files
into holes without causing these gaps. More on these options in the
following sections. Usage; Run Dirms first then Buzzsaw can do
continuous on-the-fly defragmenting, keeping your hard drive performing
at its best...

SpamBayes will attempt to classify incoming email messages as 'spam',
'ham' (good, non-spam email) or 'unsure'. This means you can have spam
or unsure messages automatically filed away in a different mail folder,
where it won't interrupt your email reading. First SpamBayes must be
trained by each user to identify spam and ham. Essentially, you show
SpamBayes a pile of email that you like (ham) and a pile you don't like
(spam). SpamBayes will then analyze the piles for clues as to what makes
the spam and ham different. For example; different words, differences in
the mailer headers and content style. The system then uses these clues
to examine new messages.*** Plugin does not work with Outlook Express!

WinSonar 2004XP ~2Mb

Winsonar 2004 XP Freeware Edition is a program specifically designed for
process monitoring and system protection from unknown processes: the
program detectes new processes permanently installed into memory while
system is working off-line, offering also an active Internet protection,
by optional automatic termination of any unknown process trying to load
itself into memory when the system is on line. The basic idea is that if
the user could know a new program silently installed into memory when
off-line, he could take appropriate countermeasures. Unfortunately this
does not offer any protection against downloading a malware when the
system is on-line. For this reason the program detects the on-line
status, asking then the user if an automatic termination of any unknown
processes is desired (this option can be also enabled by default). This
leads to an active protection against trojan\spyware-infected e-mail
attachments: even if the user unfortunately opens the attachment, the
malicious executable process will be suddenly terminated, without having
the time to perform any action.

XGen ~497Kb

X-Gen is a web development tool that allows you to create pages with the
same layout, over and over again. The beauty of this is that if a change

Happy Dling everybody!

Cheers!

Thanks, SOS

Its good to see that you still have some time to devote to the
world of "freeware".

My hopes/prayers that the animals are well, and your journey
into the corrupted judicial system, has allowed you some breath
and space.

Don't know how this election will turn out, but the few I speak
to, still have blood in their eyes.

Moors film has recieved more lashes than the back of Jesus, so
it may mark the times that might be changing.

Freeware is somewhat like politics, the strangeness and
xenophobias can frighten some people from ever downloading and
installing new ideas.

History will record, the brave and the heroes, who stood up for
what is right.

Peace

A number op programs require Dx8 (or higher?)

Does anyone know a link for the complete install file? M$ seems to
offer only on line installation, something I don't like at all.
