i am running winxpsp1with ntfs on a cyberpower comp. is there any FREE way
to get back the 20 gb hidden partition. i have the oem winxp disc.
everything i see by googling seems to be dos based or fat32 oriented.

BootItNG might help you.
Otherwise Partition Magic would be a good bet.
Of course there is always the "backup everything you have, install from
scratch, restore your stuff" method.

Actually - you might be able to use something like BootItNG to backup your
system, recreate the partition scheme to something more your liking, and use
BootItNG to restore the image you made to the new partition scheme using up
all the space.
