I had a spyware program on my computer and was going to
let MSAS clean it up. The problem I had is I knew that it
was all that needed to be cleaned and once MSAS found it
I wanted to stop the scan and clean it, but when I
stopped the scan I did not have the opportunity to clean
the spyware it found, I had to start over and wait 20
minutes for the full scan to finish. Other spyware
programs I have tried in the past would still clean
traces it found even if the scan didn't complete.

Try and run some deep scans in safe mode with Microsoft AntiSpyware.
