Wireless: WZC and Windows Wireless Control won't "stick" during Start Up

I recently had my Dell 710m laptop go down with a system registry
corruption.
I had to reinstall everything and it is working great except for the
wireless connection configuration.

No how no way can I get WZC (Wireless Zero Configuration) and Windows
Wireless Control to be automatically started as part of the Start Up
process.

I can get the wireless to work manually by starting WZC from the Run
command (it is set for automatic startup) and checking the correct box
for "Use Windows to configure my wireless settings" from the Network
Connections.

But if I reboot these two processes get lost. Arrgghh!

OS:
Window XP Home SP2 (fresh install not repair)

Drivers installed during reconstruction:
Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller Rev A08 (I looked at this
to see if it was controlling the wireless, but didn't find anything
glaring obvious)
Dell_Wireless WLAN card Rev A07 (US)
Intel PRO/wireless Network Connection Rev A08
Intel PRO/wireless 2100 LAN miniPCI Adapter Rev A13

Any ideas?

Thanks
