Wireless Video and Dual Monitor Mode

I am running Windows XP and an NVIDIA GeForce FXGo5200. I am running Media
Shout application software and need to see the application, but project only
the image not all the application images. This works fine when cabled to a
projector via an S-Video cable. However, I have recently installed a "New
Soft Presto WMS2.5" wireless video adaptor and cannot get it to work. I can
project the image of the screen on my laptop fine. But Windows XP/The NVIDIA
card apparently does not recognize the wireless connection as a second
monitor. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

the product you mentioned is a software screen capture application that uses
wifi to send a signal to a box they make to wirelessly transmit what's on
your screen to a projector. the problem is it isn't a second monitor device
plugged into your second video port but a software screen capture of what's
on you primary monitor.

as such what you are getting now is what the product is designed to do
exactly and isn't going to do anythning else.

i would suggest instead a wireless receiver/transmitter setup like the one
here at new egg for $69
