wireless printer and file sharing

I am trying to set file and print sharing between a laptop
running Win 2000 Pro and a desktop running Win XP Home, on
a wireless network. I created a netowrk setup wizard disk
off of my desktop and tried to install it in the laptop
but kept getting an error message that Win 2000 is not
supported as a part of the network stup wizard from Win XP
(all other OS's were supported, including 98 and ME). I
told me to check with the Win 2000 OS help files. I could
not find anything in the Win 2000 help files relating to
this issue
Any ideas?

You don't need a wizard. Just make sure the W2k Pro computer is in the same
workgroup as XP, create user accounts & passwords on each computer that
match those on the other, and set up your shares as you wish.
