wireless networking w/2k and xp

hi...

i've been driving myself nuts for about 2 months trying to
get my laptop (w2k) and my 2 desktops (xp on both) to
communicate... i have a wireless g router/hub connected
to a dsl modem and connected wirelessly to both desktops
and my laptop... they all connect to the internet fine
and the xp desktops communicate fine but they can't seem
to communicate with the laptop (w2k)... i turned sharing
on for my entire c:drive as well as the subfolders... the
admin passwd is set to null...

i even tried connecting the laptop (w2k) directly via nic
into the router/hub and it connects to the internet fine,
but still can't be seen by either desktop...

does it matter that on the desktops, ip routing is
disabled? if so, how do you enable it?

anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated...

tia,

1st - Make sure your computers are all on the same workgroup name.
2nd - Major thing to know about workgroups is the way it handles security.
It does not get information from a server to know what can be accessed, so
you have to have same user names and passwords on all the computers. null
passwords will keep your system from networking correctly.
