Wireless Link Won't work

I have recentley installed an infared device to my system that shows as working fine in the hardware device manager and it makes an audio signal each time i connect/disconnect it.The real problem im having in getting the device to work is the wireless link icon in the control panel.When i double click or right click to open it nothing happens.Can i reinstall this program?Thanks for any help or ideas!

I would suggest starting by finding better drivers. That may be the
problem... maybe...
