Wireless Laser Mouse 6000

Frodo Baggins

I have a Wireless Desktop v2.0: Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 and Wireless
Laser Keyboard V 2.0.

My problem is the mouse. When I reboot my computer, it all works great.
After a while, it doesn't "click" reliably. Everything else works!
Moving the pointer, the wheel, etc. But the left or right button may
take a LOT of clicks to actually get it to work (either single or double
clicks). Or, it may work fine.

It is on a wooden desk. No metal. The mouse is very near from the
transmitter.

Here is the odd thing, It appears to be a software issue(I have
Intellipoint V. 6.1). After I reboot, it works fine! For a while.

I've replaced the batteries, no change.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Maurizio.

Get it replaced under warranty. I've had several MS mice act like
that.
