wireless keyboard

mates got usb wireless k/board & mouse on win 98
but on boot up says no keyboard detected.If I connect other keyboard it will
boot & let me use wireless (ie its as if usb is not enabled on boot up)
I'm using the same keyboard on xp and have no problem
Any ideas ???

Go to the bios and check legacy USB is enabled.
