Wireless Icon in Cotrl Panel

I am trying to set up an IRDA pritner port in Xp professional. The icon for Wirless Link is missing in Control Panel. How do I restore the link so I can then enable IRDA?
 
1. Open XP's "Help and Support Center".
2. In the Search box type: IRDA , and hit enter.
3. Then click on "Verify infrared support on a computer".
