Wireless Home Network

I am about to have a Wireless Network installed in my home
from Brighhouse, my cable provider. My desktop has Window
2000 Pro. I am about to but a laptop and want to be able
to share files and the printer at home. Do I need to buy
XP Pro for the laptop or can I buy XP home to share files,
and the printer on the home wireless network? Help Please

No, you will do just fine with Home Edition. You would only want Pro on
your laptop if you need to connect to a domain at work. While you are
waiting for the work to get done, here are some links to help you learn
about networking:

Have a lot of fun! I'm sure you'll enjoy your new network.

XP Home will do that perfectly well. The only time you need it for a
network is where you want to 'join' a corporate domain net.
