Wireless Desktop Hangs XP System

My Gateway Solo Notebook has windows XP professional
installed on it. Since I installed the microsoft wireless
multimedia keyboard and the microsoft wireless optical
mouse on it, the system hangs up almost every hour.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
 
Did you disable terminal services?
If so you'll need to re-enable it.
 
I did not disable terminal services. I doubled checked
that setting and it was set to start manually. It was
started when I looked at it. I have set it to start
automatically. The system is still hanging up though.
