wireless connection working IE "page cannot load"

There is no problem if I'm connected via ethernet cable but when I try to go
wireless, just get the "page cannot load" message on any webpage I try to
access. Tried a variety of "Internet Options" settings. I've run the
troubleshooters, used the Winsock fixes, pinged with no data loss,
connection's excellent.Tried reducing the router MTU setting... no help.

I'm using a Dell Inspirion 2200 w/512 mb ram, Windows XP sp2, IE 6,
NortonInternet Security, the systems on a Linksys router. There's also a
desktop Dell Dimension 2400 running on ethernet cable thru the router,
connecting to the cable modem. If I use the ethernet cable, my Inspirion can
access any site. Sooooo any suggestions? Thanx Wordsand

This happened on my HP laptop when I tried giving both the wireless and
ethernet connections of the Laptop the same IP address. If I have one or
the other set to a static IP it exhibits this behavior. Setting both to
dynamic IP allows either to work properly.
