Wireless connection Problem

im having trouble connecting to my secured wireless connection at my apt. my
roomates are having no trouble at all, ive the password to connect but it
just says limited or no connectivity. ive no problem with unsecured network.
its the same when im at my sis's place, her wireless is secured and i cant
connect even with the password that she gives me. what gives??? im running xp
with sp2
