How were you printing from other PCs before?

Was the printer shared frm that PC and when you plugged another computer
into the network - you could 'map' that printer and utilize it? Nothing has
changed from this - except there are no wires! =)

Another option - if the printer is a Network or USB printer - is to purchase
a wireless print router or see if your wireless router can be used in that
way already.

Enable file and printer sharing on the computer with the printer connected..
on the other machine, ADD Printer, and point it at the printer that is being
network shared.. you may have to reboot the machine directly connected to
the printer after enabling the share facility..

And to add to what Shenan has said, another option would be to purchase a
cheap print server which I did and it's wonderful! Very easy to set up
also.

My printer is connected via usb to the first pc, i then connected through
wire to this pc, i have installed a netgear wireless system so i no longer am
connected directly to the 1st pc

You were utilizing file & print sharing to print from other computers
before? If so - it should still work... Whether your computers are all
connected by wire or wireless to the same network does not matter.
