Wireless Browsing

Dear Community,

I just installed a wireless network with a QWEST DSL modem (actiontec). The
network runs fine in terms of file sharing and so forth. The two wireless
computers are a notebook and a tower, both with wireless LinkSys adaptors.
The difference is in browsing with IE-6. The notebook browses great, the
tower sutters and goes slower than my old dialup.

One note regarding the tower is that it has good performance when
downloading or uploading, such as FTP or the mail server. It has good
performance when copying files from computer to computer on our small
network. The only problem is browsing.

Any suggestions would be worth lunch on me!

Have you checked for malware, viruses and so on? Is the tower up to date
with all Windows Critical Updates?
