For WinXP pro with SP1, I know it supports USB2. But for WinXp without SP1,
could someone tell me whether it supports USB2? If it doesn't, where can I
download the USB2 driver without installing SP1? Thanks.

As far as I know, the only way to enable USB 2.0 support is to install SP1.
The drivers are not available for separate download from Microsoft.

If you desire USB 2.0 support, then you'll have to install SP1.
There are no individual drivers available.

Does your computer have USB 2.0 ports? If so, get the USB 2.0 drivers from
the device manufacturer. Adaptec has great drivers for "their" adapters.
Other companies may have similar drivers for their devices.

No, USB 2 support came in with SP1. If you get a USB 2 plugin card, it
may come with drivers that you can use. It was possible to get some
drivers for Win2000 from the Windows Update Catalog, but they appear to
have been removed
