Is there any way i can install winxp on a pc without any
operating system to run unattended setup on i386 folder on
the server. is there a net use command from dos that can
connect to this shared folder on the server or any other
utility that can do this?
any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Hi -

If the server is NT4 or Windows 2000 it's possible to use
utilities packaged with those OS to make a network boot
disk. In addition to that you'll need DOS drivers for
the network card in the target machine and the whole
thing might need a bit of tweaking to get it to work.
With a network boot disk the 'net use' command is
available and can be used to map network drives.

Hope this helps -
