Winxp problems with upgrade

Seems to be plentiful problems with the upgrade. I am in
the same boat, but do not know what to do. It would seem
there would be more proactive MS people trying to help,
but do not seem to have the answer. I have changed HD's,
RAM, clean install, upgrade, etc, but XP will not work on
my system. Now I have two systems, running different
platforms.
 
Need more information J. What kind of machine, what errors, what OS
previous, etc.
