K
Kwyjibo.
I'm wondering of it's possible to stop users (other than Administrators) to
download/copy any executable file (.exe, .com, .vbs, .msi etc.....) to the
local hard drive from *any* source (Web, email, CD, floppy or network).
I've been looking through the group policy editor (gpedit.msc) and haven't
been able to find anything similar. I don't want to go to the effort of
writing a system-wide file system hook if I don't need to, so if anyone
knows if it's built in it would be greatly appreciated.
PS: The ability to stop users creating new dialup connections would also be
handy if anyone knows.........
