WinXP Pro and MS-VPN

I'm trying to set up the built-in microsoft VPN, but I'm
having all sorts of issues. I have it set up and
answering the calls, but it will drop the line after
about 1 ninute, then in some cases nothing shows
connected ven though I am and seeing everything that is
on the remote PC. (as long as the drive has been
mounted/connected to)

In some cases, I am unable to access the local network in
some cases (depending on the settings I play with) I
cannot link into a drive on the remote VPN server.

Is there a place on the web that explains the workings of
the VPN, port used etc...

I just don't seem to be able to make it work right all
the time.

You may either want to get the hotfix or do the workaround...
