Hello

I have a new PC where I want to install a new WinXP Media Center.
After the second CD, the install request the SP2 CD that was not provided
with the Win box.
I have tried with a SP2 CD that I got from a newspaper but it failed since
it could not fiind the \i386 directory.
Then I clicked on Cancel thinking that I will be able to download it from
the net.
So the install went until the ned without error message, but it looks like
it was incomplete since IE is not install. Therfore no net connection is
posssoble and I cannot download SP2!!

How can I solve it ?

Thanks

Bernard

This is a frequent cause of confusion with the MCE install.

Unfortunately you'll have to start over. After disc two when the install
asks for the Windows XP SP2 CD it's asking for disc one to be put back in.
Poor choice of wording.
