WinXP Home setup problem

I just finished installing windowsXP Home, and after the restart, it prompts
me to set up the user accounts. I fill in th first blank with my user
account, and it then goes straight to logon with two user accounts: Guest
and mine. both require passwords, but i never specified passwords for
either. When i try to enter anything for a password, even nothing, it brings
up this error message:

"The sytem cannot log you on due to the following error:

The specified domain either does not exist or cannot be contacted

Please try agian or cunsult your system administrator"

I don't have much of an idea to what this means or what i should do.

.
Try creating a new user account as administrator, then
do a reboot and log into that new user, then go back into
your user accounts to remove that old original user
account. And while in there look for the options for use
of passwords too.
