WinXP File Folder Extension Handling in Windows Explorer

So this new program I got works real great... except it
screwed up the file extensions for File Folders and
Folders. For the longest time, depressing Windows Key and
E to open windows explorer wasn't working. I would get an
error message saying "Paramater Not Defined" or something
like that.

From one of the various webpages I found out how to add a
file action for folders and file folders called "Explore"
and reference c:\windows\explorer.exe. Well, that worked,
but navigation is still not back to normal.

When I used to press Win+E, the FOLDERS toolbar would
appear in Windows Explorer. Secondly, even though "display
each folder in the SAME window" is checked, folders still
appear as new windows. I tried to set all folders like
current one from the option button in Folder Options, but
that does not work either.

Can someone please advise me as to the proper file actions
for the extensions of File Folder and Folder? Thanks.
