WinXP and old Targa monitor trouble - "Out of range"

When I start in "safe mode" it runs ok!
In safe mode I have tried to adjust the resolution to the lowest, but when
rebooted in normal boot the screeen says "Out of range" again..

(The monitor isn't listed in hardware list along with other hardware)

Go to your video card properties page and make sure that VSYNC is on.
If you have an NVIDIA card that is on the performance and quality
settings page. See if that helps.

I will try that! It's an NVIDIA card.
