Monitor problems

Guest

I have replaced my old crt monitor for a new TFT one. When i want to go into
safe mode, the screen says that the input signal is out of range and no
picture will appear, i have to connect the old monitor. It seems that my
computer does not recognise the hardware.

On the cd was only a manual that was it, i was not asked to install new
hardware. Can anybody help please?

Reconnect the old monitor. Lower the screen resolution to around 1024x768.
Shut down the computer. Attach your new monitor. When you are in Windows
again, set the resolution and refresh rate to that which your monitor
manufacturer states as optimal for the monitor.
