WinXp and Norton GoBack

Right I am running into the following scenario:

WinXP and trying to boot and GoBack stop the boot sequence.

I tried fixboot and fixmbr from the Recovery Console
and it seems the big WinXP drive has become inaccessible.

I install WinXP on another drive then PartitionMagic 8
and still no success in trying to read the C: drive.

Help!! The data appears to be safe on C: and
I have been told NOT to format this drive.

You should not have run fixmbr on a drive that has Goback installed.
See this page and the section on how to repair the MBR.
