Winsock Error

For no apparent reason, I am suddenly unable to connect to my web site using my FTP software, which has worked perfectly well previously. I now get the following message:

500 connection timed out (Winsock error 10060)
Unable to login on server.

Can anyone help please?

Jim -- I am having the same problem. Did you get any help with this?

Weird thing is, the problem seems to be localized to one of my two computers connected throught the same wireless access point/router and DSL connection. Other machine can access my web sites just fine. Even the machine which will not access site #1 via ftp can access site #2 via ftp?? I'm baffled.

Same problem exists using IE or FTP Navigator freeware program
