WINS on 2k

Hi,

We currently have a NT server acting as our WINS server
for 98 clients and it's also a BDC. Our environment is 2K
servers w/ 2 DC's with this one NT server the last one.
What would be the procedure to install WINS on a new 2K
member server and take the old NT server offline for BDC
and WINS purposes?

You can't demote a Windows NT Server, you'll have to decommission it and
remove it from the network. As for migrating WINS between an NT and 2000
Server, see this:
