Winows explorer keeps restarting

What I mean is when ever I second click a folder or something it always says not responding then I have to restart windows explorer and it is very annoying this happens every single time I second click something

I have windows vista home basic

and it is fully up to date.

You running out of resources ?
What cpu, RAM are you using ?
Also ... how many processes are you running (look at Task Manager)
