WINMM WDM AUDIO COMPATIBILITY DRIVER

I am having problem with my audio driver. I have uninstalled it and rebooted
my computer. After rebooting my laptop during the installation it tells me
that it can not find wdmaud.sys and the path it gives is c:/windows\driver
cache\i386.

What can I do to fix this error? Any help with this would be greatly
appreciated.

Get new audio driver software package from the website of your PC
manufacturer, download and install it and then reboot.
