Winmail.dat, Outlook 2003, and Setting "Per User" Send Options

Rich

Hello all. I'm familiar with Tools, Options, Mail Format, and setting
Message Format to Plain Text. But I don't want to do this. I want my
default message format to be Rich Text. I've also set my "Internet
Format to internet recipients" to be converted to HTML.

Now, I want to specify a single address in my contacts list, to which
I will only send plain text messages whenever I create/compose an
e-mail. To me, it will look like RTF, but to my recipient, it will
appear as plain text.

I'm opening the "Contacts" folder and right-clicking the e-mail
address. When I select "Send Options" I get an error, "Microsoft
Office Outlook ... Cannot perform the requested operation. The
command selected is not valid for this recipient. To set options for
this message, click Options on the toolbar. [OK]"

This isn't working like my old version of Outlook... Can you please
help?

Thanks...

Open the contact and double-click the underlined email address. That's where
you'll find the setting you're seeking.

You're awesome Sue. I'm not sure if there's a good tutorial to
quickly show me the differences between Outlook 2000 and 2003 ... but
I'm interested. ;-)

Thanks much!
Rich (feeling stupid)...
