winmail.dat error

I am using a pop3 email account (freeserve) from outlook
to send emails to my suppliers, however when they receive
them they are getting the winmail.dat error. Having
looked on the Microsoft website I can see that Service
Pack 3 should have solved this problem but it has not. I
have also got someone to try this using Outlook and HTTP
(hotmail) in Outlook 2003 and they get the same issue.
Can anyone offer any information as to why this is still
happening?
