Could anyone tell me where I could find windows updates MSI files?

I would also like to know this. Why doesn't Microsoft
provide their patches in MSI format???

Windows uses a different setup and servicing technology than MSI. As for help in
deploying windows updates, Software Update Services is the desired method going
forward. See http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/windowsupdate/sus/default.asp
for more information.

Saying that, some individuals have had success wrapping the hotfix's in an MSI
package for deployment. The following KB article gives an overview of how to do
that (although note the PSS support limitations):
