WindowsDefender (warning) icon in system tray.

Hello.

I just switched from limited user account to an account with administrative
privileges.

Windows Defender panel indicates:
"You haven't scanned your computer in 3 days. We recommend that you schedule
Windows Defender to scan your computer each day."

But 'Scan schedule' is set to: 'Daily around 2:00PM.'

Definition version: 1.14.2035.5 created on 18-Jan-07 at 2:40 AM.

Tools | Options
Automatic scanning
All boxes are 'checked'
Frequency: Daily
Approximate time: 2:00 PM
Type: (Quick scan)
--
Default actions
High/Medium/Low alert items: Default action (definition based)
--
Real-time protection options
All boxes are 'checked'.
Except:
Software that has not yet been classified for risks
Changes made to your computer by software that is permitted to run
Always (radio button)
--
Advanced options
All boxes are 'checked'
--
Administrator options
All boxes are 'checked'
--
Clicked on to Save button.
--
In CCleaner v1.36.430
Cleaner Settings | Applications tag
Windows Defender checkbox is UNCHECKED.
--
How can I make Windows Defender to scan automatically my computer each day?
--
Also, the Windows Defender warning icon did not appear in limited user
account and found out only when switching to an account with administrative
privileges. And, it seems that automatic updates only work in
administrator-level accounts and not in limited user account.

Why is that?
I was under the impression that Windows Defender is
working/updating/scanning in ALL accounts.

TIA........Mel :)

i had a problem with the limited account too with WD as in another post of
mine.
I think there is a big bug when you use it as a limited user
