Hi,

I would like to know if anyone can help me get a file that
was in Win95B and to use it in WinXP.

The file that I want to use from Win95 is WINFILE.EXE
(etc.).

If you have forgotten what it is: Remember Win 3.1
version. It is a file cabinet icon. It shows at the top
in the toolbar all the drives available on the computer.
You can click on that drive and it shows all files. You
can even copy from (ex. Drive g:file and take your mouse
and take it over to drive A and drop it.) and it will copy
it for you.

I would like to get this on my WinXP version. It is alot
easier for me to use than the Explorer and My Computer.

I hope someone can help me. I am new to this version of
WIndows.

Thanks,

Sweetpea

Right click on taskbar, choose properties then choose
start menu then customize and then check enable dragging
and dropping. The My Computer section also displays all
of your drives.

SweetPea;
Email me if you can't find winfile.exe and I will help.

Why bother? Go to your Windows folder and find "explorer." It is
WinXPs version of the old file manager.
