I bough a new Dell 8300 which came with XP professional i
wiped my drive clean from my old computer and sold it do i
need a new key to sell the old xp full edition...

No new key is needed.. You said full edition. If your old XP is a retail
version you may sell it; if it is a OEM you can't. Be sure to supply the key
with XP when you sell it. If it has been more than 120 days since the XP was
installed it will activate as normal; if less the new owner will have to do
a phone activation. Be sure to explain this to the buyer.

Jerry, if the WinXP CD is a Dell OEM version, it has to stay with the
8300. That's my understanding. Maybe somebody
else will jump in here.
