Can someone please tell me how to find the Device Manager
in Windows XP? I had no problem with Windows 98 but can't
seem to locate it on my new computer. Thanks in advance.

The help on XP is really HELPFUL! I am actually enjoying
looking things up on it:

To open Device Manager, click Start, and then click
Control Panel. Double-click System. On the Hardware tab,
click Device Manager.

Yes, "they" have gone out of their way to hide it! Right Click on My
Computer, go to Properties. There is a Hardware Tab. Note that Device
Manager is in the middle of the Hardware Page. HTH

Windows Key (the one with the flag) and the Pause Key. Press them
simulataneously.
Choose HARDWARE tab|DEVICE MANAGER button.
FANTASTIC! Never knew this one. I wade through the Properties on My
Computer. Thanks for the tip!

JEANNE, I am not familiar with 98, but in XP if you RT>
in open taskbar you pull up screen that says Task
Manager. If you >that it might show you Device MGR. And,
yes, it is VERY helpful.
Good Luck
