I need to know why windows xp doesn't show some new
folders or files in its original path, but if you search
for that file or folder you find it there, but, again, you
can't see it in its path.
 
Many essential files are hidden from view, so that users won't accidentally
alter them or delete them altogether. If you want to see them, open Windows
Explorer and change the settings in Tools > Folder Options > Views. If
you're like most users, you'll probably say "big deal" and leave those files
hidden.
