My computer was activated. Now its not. I followed the instructions below and
no activatrion instuctions appear on the screen. Similarly "oobe/msoobe /a".
does nothing.
How do I get my computer to at least attempt to activate?
thx sandy

"To activate Windows by phoneThe Windows Product Activation Wizard is
located in System Tools. To open a system tools item, click Start, point to
All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click the
appropriate icon., then click Activate Windows.
Follow the activation instructions that appear on your screen.

Alternatively, you can open the Windows Product Activation wizard by
clicking Start, then Run, and type in "oobe/msoobe /a".

Try repairing the registry entries for the .DLL files used by
Activation:

Use Start- Run and enter the following text in the dialog box:
regsvr32.exe regwizc.dll

Then do it again with the following text:
regsvr32.exe licdll.dll

You can then try running activation again.

Good luck
