Windows XP/Windows Update Problem

A few days ago, I went to the Windows UPdate site with
the original version of the Windows XP Help and SUpport
page.

The Windows Update site loaded a new update format. Now
when I attempt to access the Windows Update site, I get
an error ([Error number: 0x80248011.

I have followed the suggestions to resolve the problem,
but nothing works.

Now I am stuck, because I can no longer perform automated
systems updates.

Any suggestions for how to proceed.

i had a friend with same prob and had 2 reload windows
and i know if it is a burnt 1 u have 2 do a little extra
before u update

I am having a similar problem with an Ox8 error code
however this only seems to occur when I am connected to my
coporate network as it works fine when on ADSL at home.

If I get any information on this I will be sure to let you
know.
