After I installed either the last Windows Update from
10/16/03 or the one from 10/04/03, I have had a problem
with Windows Explorer.

Whenever I open Windows Explorer, it will stay open for a
while, not the same amount of time each occurrence, and
then it will close itself. After it "crashes" it shuts
down some, but not all, of the programs I have running in
the Systray. Such programs include things like The
Weather Channel weather program, Webshots, SETI, etc.

Otherwise, my copy of XP is running fine and stable, but
it is definitely a problem now after one of those 2 last
updates.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Matthew Haslett
