Windows XP vs Windows Automatic Updates

I received the following 6 Microsoft Security Updates via
Automatic Updates. I am running Windows XP on my
computer. Do I download and install the 2 Security
Updates for Windows as well as the 4 for Windows XP? Or
do I just install the 4 specified for Windows XP?

from 2002, the first 4 were released last Wednesday).

I am also running Windows XP Home edition. When I try to
install these updates, my computer hangs. I tried going
to the Microsoft site to update, but I get a message that
the install failed. Does anyone know why I cannot install
these updates?
