windows xp visual features

I am running my dell inspiron 8200 with a 1.8 GHz p4-m
and a gig of memory. If i were to turn off all of the
visual themes, would their be a big performance boost?

Hi Alec,

There would be a slight boost but based on my personal experience you would
probably not notice it.

Better to sellectively turn off the "Eye Candy" which you do not need or
want.
