Windows XP Upgrade

Is WinXP Home, upgrade edition, compatible with Windows 98 or ME upgrades
editions?

YES...........but if you are upgrading an ME that you upgraded from 98 it
might ask for the 98 CD

No it doesn't!

I upgraded Win95 OEM to WinME, and then upgraded WinXP Pro. (I
upgraded some hardware along the way too)
The WinXP Pro upgrade accepted the WinME upgrade disk as qualifying
product.

Thanks, got both the 98 and ME disks. The Win 98 is also an upgrade, with
that throw a monkey wrench in the plan?

I used the ME upgrade to go to XP home.
