windows xp update

im having problems updating my windows with critical
updates and service packs plus driver updates as well as
windows xp. it goes as far as windows update -web page
dialog box but just stays there without downloading any
help would be great cheers....
 
thank you been struggling with this for the last 6 months
visited site and sorted problem straight away cheers....
