Windows xp syays driver inconpatable

purchased a new computer with XP installed. I prefer
(want) to use my microsoft IntelliType Pro USB keyboard.
Microsoft XP says driver is incompatable. On line,
microsoft has no drivers for this keyboard and does not
acknowledge that it exists. HOW CAN I Contact microsoft
to straighten this out. Naturally, the computer vendor
has no responsibility - "Use thd keyboard tha we sold you
with the computer." even if it is cheap and uncomfortable
and black.

Has anyone had a similar problem that got solved? Thanks
