Since the day I built my computer and installed Windows XP Pro 2-1/2 years ago,
whenever I booted up the computer, it went through all the splash screens and
ended up on the desktop ready to go. Starting yesterday, it stops at the sign in
screen, and I have to click on the icon with my name on it. I only set up one
account when I built it and installed Windows. Why would suddenly this sign on
screen appear? The only change I made to the system was installing Printshop 22
Deluxe last evening, just before the problem started. I can't imagine that
installing a program like that would have made such a drastic change in the way
Windows opens. Any suggestions? Thanks.
