Windows XP startup freeze

Brand new P4 2.66/512, first day. Worked OK till
installed Intel Express Installer CD ROM. Now can't start
up--gets to "Windows is starting up" screen and freezes---
have to do hard shut-down----even control/alt/delete
doesn't work! Tried the retro start-up mode--that goes
into a loop. Don't know where to go from here-help
appreciated.

It sounds like you got a bad install of outlook express. You should get
rid of this by going into safe mode and then getting rid of it.

What's "Intel Express Installer..." got to do with OE ? I would guess that
his issue is connected with motherboard drivers.
